PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting resin solution composition suitable for prevention of development of display failure and prevention of development of coating failure in liquid display devices, and color filters and liquid display devices each using the thermosetting resin solution composition. SOLUTION: This thermosetting resin solution composition is obtained by including a thermosetting resin component and solvents wherein the solvents consist of two or more kinds of solvent component, and solvent(s) with a boiling point of >=190 deg.C account(s) for 30-60 wt.% of all the solvents, and the solubility at 25 deg.C of the thermosetting resin component per 100 g of the solvents is >=35 g.
