PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sterilization of the entire circulation water and the sterilization of filter media and also to discharge the water in piping and the device. SOLUTION: In the midway of a circulation path 3 of bathtub water, a pump 5, a filter 6 and an UV lamp 4 are arranged and a filter medium 7 of the filter 6 and the whole quantity of circulation water are sterilized with UV ray irradiation from the UV lamp 4. Thus, the circulation water can be purified through the filter 6 and the whole sterilization of the circulation water and the sterilization of the filter medium 7 can be performed with irradiation of UV rays. Therefore, in addition to purification and sterilization of the circulation water, bacteria, etc., do not proliferate on the filter medium 7 and a period up to clogging of the filter medium can be prolonged.
