PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment device for phosphoric acid ion-containing discharge water preventing a formation of a passivated membrane and maintaining efficiency of removal of phosphorous. SOLUTION: This water treating device is successively provided with anaerobic tanks A, B, an aerobic tank C and a sedimentation separation tank D or a treated water tank from a sewage inflow side. A deaerating tank 8 for removing dissolved oxygen from the discharge water with a methane diffusion device being a deaeration means, and an electrolytic tank 4 for electrochemically eluting iron ions and/or aluminum ions into the discharge water containing the phosphoric acid ions by using at least one pair of eledrodes including iron and/or aluminum, are successively installed in a path L1 for returning the discharge water from the aerobic tank C, the sedimentation separation tank D or the treated water tank to the anaerobic tank A.
