PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a suction muffler without depending on molding dimensional dispersion and thermal expansion dimensional change of the suction muffler and a cylinder head, in a closed type electric motor-driven compressor using the suction muffler made by plastic. SOLUTION: By forming a bead 26a to be deformable by pressing in a root of a protruding pin 26 of a back surface of a muffler suction pipe 25 of a suction muffler, the bead 26a is partly crushed to generate prescribed pressing force when a cylinder head is mounted. Thus, molding dimension of the muffler and the cylinder head can be relaxed, to attain sure fixing and eliminate a spring member or the like, and manufacture can be performed by reducing a cost.
