PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine provided with a turn lock mechanism of an injector capable of accurately positioning its rotational direction. SOLUTION: An injector is mounted through a gasket 70 and a washer 68 in a cylinder head 12 constituting an engine. A turn lock mechanism of this injector is constituted by a cutout part 66 formed in a stepped part 62 of a nozzle tip retainer 56, reversed parts 74a, 74b of the gasket 70 abutting to the cutout part 66, lug-shaped parts 78 provided in the reversed parts 74a, 74b, and a recessed part 98 formed in an injector holder 30 of the cylinder head 12 for mounting the lug-shaped part 78.
