PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the end part working method for a decorative member, with which the attractive butt end edge face of the decorative member and the easy edge part processing of the decorative member can be realized. SOLUTION: This working method is the end part working method of a decorative member 10 for decorating the surface of a building frame. In this working method, a notched part 40, which is notched in a V-groove over the whole width on the rear surface side in the neighborhood of the longitudinal edge part of the decorative member 10, is provided so as to bend a bending part 50, as which one edge part side of the notched part 40 is employed, towards the notched part 40 side, resulting in arranging the top surface of the bending part 50 as the butt end edge face of the decorative member 10.
