PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take articles in or out from the side of a balcony by extracting a storage box in a lean-to onto the balcony from an opening section provided on the side wall of the balcony adjacent to the lean-to. SOLUTION: An opening section 22 having nearly the same shape as that of the short side wall 11 of a storage box body 1, slightly larger than the side wall 11 and rarely allowing rain to enter is provided near a living room 4 on the short side wall 31 of a balcony 3 kept in contact with a lean-to roof 21. A lean-to 2 is formed with the lean-to roof 21 and a lean-to space section adjacently to the side wall 31, the attic 23 of the lean-to 2 is provided at the upper end section of the lean-to space section, the lean-to roof 21 is kept in contact with the side wall 31, and a box body 1 is inserted into an opening section 22 provided near the living room 4 of the attic 23. The box body 1 can be extracted onto a balcony floor 32 from the balcony 3 side with its handhold 16 gripped. Dirty tools can be stored in the storage box body 1 on the balcony floor 32 without being stored in it from the living room 4, and the storage box body 1 can be stored in the attic 23.
