PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus for stabilizing the temp. of the ink supplied to a printing head in a ink jet printing system capable of continuously printing on continuous paper. SOLUTION: In an ink jet printer including an ink pump 55, an ink supply means 53 supplying ink to a printing head pH by the ink pump and an ink recovery means 54 recovering the ink ejected and discharged form the printing head, an ink temp. stabilizing means for stabilizing the temp. of ink is provided in the ink recovery line 59 of the ink recovery means and the constant temp. medium in the ink temp. stabilizing means is a circulating fluid being the water- containing liquid or air-containing gas circulated around the ink recovery line. |
