PURPOSE:To provide a character modifying device capable of performing a desired modification processing by use of character data having a small amount of information. CONSTITUTION:Outline data is converted to center information and thickness information (S8 and S9). Next, the converted thickness information is converted to speed information, and also, the converted center information and speed information are converted to vector information (S10). Next, dot data on which a prescribed modification processing is applied based on a paint system program is generated by the use of the vector information (S11). By performing such a processing, the vector information is generated from the outline data, and the prescribed modification processing is performed in accordance with the vector information. |
