Solar energy receiver having two or more regions for acceptance of solar radiation, and a means for splitting the solar radiation into two or more wavelength bands. A different band of radiation is incident upon each of the regions. At least one of the regions includes a means, such as a filter, to substantially prevent radiation having a wavelength longer than that incident on the region from leaving the region. |
