The invention relates to a tub (3), e.g. a bathtub (1) or shower tub, accommodated in a tub support (2), whereby the tub support (2) comprises a tub support base (4) and a tub support supplementary piece (6). In addition, the tub support supplementary piece (6) is connected to the tub (3) in a fixed manner or the tub (3) is loosely inserted into the tub support supplementary piece (6). The tub support base (4) comprises channels (37) on the upper side thereof for accommodating pipes such as drainage pipes (21). The aim of the invention is to attain an advantageous assembly of the parts with regard to connecting techniques. To this end, an overlapping edge (24) is configured on the tub support supplementary piece (6) or on the tub support base (4). Said overlapping edge overlaps the tub support base (4) or the tub support supplementary piece (6) in an edge step section (25). |
