A compound of formula I or an isomer or an acid addition salt thereof is claimed wherein: R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen, halo, alkyl, alkoxy, nitro, trifluoromethyl or -NR8R9; R3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl or -CO-R13; R4 and R5 are independently hydrogen or alkyl; R6 and R7 are independently hydrogen, chloro or bromo and R8, R9 and R13 are as defined in the specification provided that if R6 and R7 are H then the other is different from H. A pharmaceutical composition containing a compound of formula I useful for the treatment of acute or chronic neurodegenerative diseases is claimed. |
