PURPOSE: A metal mold defect detecting device is provided to detect in advance the detect such as metal mold breakage by measuring pressure to an ejector fin that pushes the molding product from the metal mold. CONSTITUTION: A metal mold B has an attaching plate(10) in a fixing side that is attached to a holder in the molder fixing side and an attaching plate(11) in a moving side that is attached to a holder in the molder moving side. The attaching plate in the fixing side attaches a molding plate(12) in the fixing side having a female hallow(12a) to the attaching plate in the fixing side, and the attaching plate in the moving side attaches a molding plate(13) in the moving side having a male core(13a) to the attaching plate in the fixing side through a pad plate(14) and a spacer block(15). The metal mold B can be divided between the mold plate in the fixing side and mold plate in the moving side.
