PURPOSE: The locking structure is provided to lock a back rest without looseness for a seat plate, also to prevent the bias action of a pawl pair. CONSTITUTION: The locking structure comprises two arch shaped guide member formed on the 1st bracket and an inscribed saw tooth formed on the 2nd bracket(3). The two guide member is stored in the recessed part formed inside of the inscribed saw tooth gear, two locking gears and a cam for moving the two guide members to the opposite directions are inserted between two guide members. Each locking gear has a pawl(41) butted with the inscribed saw tooth gear. The guide recessed part(23) is formed at the far position from the cam at each guide member, the combined locking gear is stored at the guide recessed part(23).
