SUB-RACK FOR PLUG-IN PRINTED CIRCUIT MODULES WITH MEANS OF DAMPED DISCHARGE OF ELECTROSTATIC POTENTIAL

PURPOSE: A sub-rack (BGT) for a plug-in printed circuit module (BG) with a resistor (R) located between a front panel (FP) and a sliding contact (K) is provided. CONSTITUTION: Damped discharge of electrostatic charges on a front plate (FP) to a sub-rack (BGT) is accomplished through a resistor (R). The sub-rack comprises at least one guide rail to secure printed circuit modules, and at least one contact spring is integrated in the guide rail. The advantage of the sub-rack is that a printed circuit module(BG) may be plugged in or detached during operation of the other printed circuit modules in the sub-rack without the emission of interfering signals which could impair the correct function of the remaining printed circuit modules.
