PURPOSE: An azeotrope-like composition of difluoromethane and chlorine is provided to include 65 plus or minus 5 wt% of HFC-32 and 35 plus or minus 5 wt% of chlorine while being boiled in a temperature of -55°C plus or minus 10°C. CONSTITUTION: The present invention relates to mixtures of difluoromethane ("HFC-32") and chlorine. More particularly, the invention provides azeotrope-like compositions of HFC-32 and chlorine.
