<p>PURPOSE: A single-pole relay switch is provided to improve an operation performance of a single-pole relay switch by effectively being an extinction an arc regardless of a flow direction of a current. CONSTITUTION: The single-pole relay switch comprises a housing (10), a contact carrier (30), an actuator (60), and a permanent magnet (50). The housing includes a casing (40) which is divided into a first and a second chamber (41, 42) to accept first and second work contacts (31, 32) and first and second fixed contacts (21, 22). The first and second chambers are surrounded by a dielectric wall, respectively. The permanent magnet (50) is disposed around the casing (40) to stretch individual arcs toward the dielectric wall of first and second chambers (41, 42) of the casing and into an opposed direction.</p> |
