SECTION OPTICAL FIBER SPLITTER HAVING MONOLITHIC SMALL-SIZED BAND

PURPOSE: A section optical fiber splitter is provided to be more small, more stable and harder by preventing a relative movement between components. CONSTITUTION: The optical fiber splitter comprises a small-sized optical fiber band (20) tightly attached to a substrate so as to form an optical component and a unified assembly. The optical assembly includes at least one optical fiber (14) which has an introduce fiber portion (18) and a return fiber portion (22). The small-sized band (20) is formed at an intermediate part composed of an optical fiber part between the introduce fiber part and the return fiber part in order to provide an inversion of a direction between the introduce fiber part (18) and the return fiber part (22). The introduce fiber part and the return fiber part are fixed in a channel formed as soon as inside the substrate so as to have an overlap relationship.
