PURPOSE: Breathable perspiration pads containing a breathable back sheet and an odor control system are provided which deliver improved odor control performance. CONSTITUTION: The breathable perspiration pads, such as underarm, wrist and head perspiration pads, collar inserts and shoe insert shaving a breathable back sheet, and an odor control system are described. The combination of breathability and the odor control system delivers an improved odor control performance of the perspiration pad. Preferably the odor control system contains i)silica, AGM and zeolite in a rate of 5:1:1 - 1:1:5(much preferably 3:1:1 - 1:1:3), ii)zeolite, active carbon and AGM, iii)silica and AGM in a rate of 5:1 - 1:5( much preferably 3:1 - 1:3), iv)zeolite and AGM, v)silica and zeolite in a rate of 1:5 - 5:1(much preferably 1:3 - 3:1), vi)a chelating agent, especially ethylenediamine tetraacetate, and vii)the chelating agent mixed with a mixture of AGM and zeolite, or a mixture of AGM, zeolite and active carbon in a rate of 1:10 - 10:1(much preferably 1:5 - 5:1). And the pads contain 5-400 g/m¬2(preferably 150-250) odor control system.
