PURPOSE: A burner assembly and an industrial turbine engine having it are provided to minimize the generation of the flashback by making a baffle(100) have an upstream base portion(110) adjacent to an end cover(62) and an inclined downstream(112) having narrower width than one of the upstream base portion. CONSTITUTION: The burner assembly is composed of:a first end part(64) connected to a burning chamber(26); a second end part(60) attached on an end cover(62); many fuel nozzles(50) having a central area(52) formed between them; an upstream base portion(110) adjacent to the end cover; an inclined downstream(112) having narrower width than one of the upstream base portion; and a baffle(100) minimizing the flashback in the central area by the transfer from a recycling flowing(68) to a downstream flowing(70).; Herein, the exhaust gas and the cost for the pump can be reduced, and the generation of the flashback can be minimized or removed. Therefore, the improved thermodynamic efficiency is achieved.
