PURPOSE: A new triblock oligomer is provided to work as an antifogging agent by representing an excellent antifogging property right after molding by being added to a thermoplastic resin and by performing a stable function for a long time. CONSTITUTION: Triblock oligomers (A) which have structures represented by general formula (I) and weight-average molecular weights of 100 to 8000 and are excellent in initial characteristics of antistatic and antifogging properties and long-term retention thereof; thermoplastic resin compositions containing the oligomers (A); and antifog moldings whose oxygen-to-carbon atom ratios at the surface, mean diameters of the dispersed particles, mean aspect ratios of the dispersed particles and mean distances among the centers of gravity of the dispersed particles fall within the specific ranges respectively. In formula: A-B-C, (A:R1-X-; B:-(R2-O-)m-(R3-O-)n-; C:-R4-Y-R5), R1 is alkyl, alkenyl or an α-olefin homo- or co-polymer unit; X is oxygen, OC(=O), C(=O)O, OC(=O)O, NHC(=O) or C(=O)NH; R2 and R3 are each alkylene; m is an integer of 1 to 30; n is an integer of 0 to 29; R4 is alkylene; Y is oxygen, OC(=O), C(=O)O, OC(=O)O, NHC(=O) or C(=O)NH; and R5 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or an alpha-olefin homo- or co-polymer unit. |
