PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to decrease flicker and baking formed by charge of impurity ions remaining on the boundary of a liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises: (a)a first electrodes arranged on a first side of a liquid crystal layer; (b)a second electrodes arranged on a second side of the liquid crystal layer; and (c)a front side glass substrate and a back side substrate between which the liquid crystal layer, the first electrodes and the second electrodes are inserted. In the display, the liquid crystal layer has conductive spacers with a double structure formed by a outer part with flexibility and a core part with a higher hardness than the outer part. A thickness of the liquid crystal layer is maintained by the spacers.
