LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A portable liquid crystal display which is able to detect a touch point by a finger or pen is provided to decrease a weight of the portable device and to increase resolution and sensitivity for detecting the touch point. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises: (a)a couple of substrates composed of a first glass substrate located in one side of a liquid crystal and a second glass substrate located in other side of a liquid crystal; (b)a polarizer located in a outer side of one substrate in two substrates; and (c)a electrically conductive film located between the polarizer and the substrate and detecting a touch point of a input element. In the device, the conductive film is formed as a single body with the substrate and the size of the polarizer is smaller than the size of the conductive film.
