PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing scale of band-type steel sheet and an apparatus for preparing band-type steel sheet by using the apparatus are provided, which is improved in efficiency of electric power and working velocity and can be minimized. CONSTITUTION: A band-type steel sheet (1) passes through an electrolysis part a neutral salt solution (6) where chromium oxides are removed; a washing tank (7); an electrolysis part of an alkali solution (8) where niobium oxides are removed; a washing tank (9); an electrolysis part of a nitrate solution (10) where iron oxides are removed; a washing tank (11); a dryer (12); and a skin pass roller (13) in turn, and be rolled to a reel (14). The electrolysis parts (6, 8, 10) comprises a plurality of electrodes which is united with nozzles spraying an electrolyte solution. The electrolyte solution is sprayed in atmosphere, thereby the required amount of the solution is reduced and the apparatus for removing scale is minimized. The apparatus for removing scale contains a controlling part which controls the spraying pressure of an electrolyte solution, thereby the waving and bending of the band-type steel sheat are prevented.
