PURPOSE: An information reproducing apparatus and method, information recording apparatus and method, providing medium and recording medium is provided, which prewrites a priority information to a recoding medium. CONSTITUTION: The information reproducing apparatus comprises: a reading/recording means (61) for performing a reading operation for reading an information recorded in an optical disk (62) and a recording operation for recording an information to the optical disk (62); a PBC analyzer (63) for reading files selected by a user or PBC files and analyzing the PSD of the relative file; a PSD memory (65) having a pointer table buffer region (81) for storing a last pointer table of the PBC file; and a menu graphics decoder (67) for decoding a menu graphics data provided from the PBC analyzer (63). Thereby, it is possible to improve the operation performance.
