STABLE 3-ISOTHIAZOLONE COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A stabilizer for 3-isothiazolone is provided to be used for both water-based and non-water-based systems while not causing a coagulation of latex. CONSTITUTION: A sterilizing composition is formed by mixing stabilizing amounts of more than one 3-isothiazolone compound and azobiscarbonyl compound. Therefore, the composition of the mixture of the azobiscarbonyl compound and more than one 3-isothiazolone compound can be introduced in a habitat receiving an attack of microorganism for a sterilizing effective amount for being used for both water-based and non-water-based systems and for repressing or controlling the growth of microorganism effectively while not causing the coagulation of latex.
