PURPOSE: An irreversible circuit having a dielectric wave guide and a wireless equipment having the irreversible circuit are provided to precisely insert a dielectric strip in grooves formed at a conductive plate and prevent the irreversible characteristic to be worse. CONSTITUTION: The irreversible circuit comprises: a dielectric wave guide having a dielectric strip(3) disposed between two conductive parallel plane plates; a ferrite sheet(6, 7) disposed at a central portion of the dielectric strip; a medium disposed between at least one side face of the ferrite and the conductive plate adjacent to the one side of the ferrite. The medium has a dielectric ratio lower than the dielectric strip. A groove(22) into which the dielectric strip is inserted is formed at a lower plane plate(2) of the two conductive parallel plane plates. The width of the strip increases as it travels from the central portion to the edge of the lower plane plate. A space is formed between the side wall of the groove and a side wall surface of the ferrite sheet.
