The valve comprises a housing (300) with a fluid flow passage (400) and a main laminating member (110) which is moved by a main control element (130) to close the passage (400) selectively. It also has a multiway laminating member (210), actuated by a control element (230). When the valve is closed and functioning normally the main and multi-way members (110, 210) are in contact with one another, and the main member is close to its maximum displacement position, in which it closes no more than half the passage (400), while the multi-way member is in an intermediate position.
