The method of assembling spectacles involves selecting a frame (2) with lens mountings of the same shape but having two different spacings (d). Lenses are chosen with strength necessary including centralised and non-centralised lenses (4). The lenses are placed in the corresponding mountings with the offset lenses having their offset towards the middle of the frame.
