METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LINING A CONDUIT OR A DUCT

The invention relates to a method and a device for lining a conduit (12) with a sealing inner lining (6) using a flexible tube containing adhesive (6a). Said flexible tube is turned up and introduced into the conduit and held in place until the adhesive has hardened. A lubricant is applied to the outer surface of the flexible tube before the tube is turned up in order to reduce the friction force during the process of introducing the tube into the conduit/duct. A lubricant with a gel-type consistency is used in order to minimise this friction force. The lubricant is also transformed into a liquid state by heating before it is applied to ensure an even coating of the flexible tube. After the lubricant has been applied, it quickly cools to the ambient temperature, thus guaranteeing the required gel-type consistency. This makes it possible to line conduits or ducts which have several bends or angles.
