Equipment for drying ceramic mouldings has: (a) two parallel drying channels (2) for passage of ware-laden drying cars (3) in a longitudinal direction (L); (b) a main air channel (5) for drying air passage, arranged between the two drying channels (2); and (c) drying sections (9) located at the drying channel sides remote from the main air channel (5), each drying section (9) having a fan (7) which draws part of the drying air across the respective drying channel (2) from the main air channel (5) and which returns the air across the drying channel (2) to a downstream point in the main air channel (5).
