PURPOSE: An interior element for a vehicle and the shaping method are provided to reduce the breaking force of an air bag door breaking part to the wanted degree and to prevent exterior quality from deteriorating even when molding the air bag door part and a body part with the same resin. CONSTITUTION: Metal plates(48,50) which are made into aluminum, stainless, iron and so on, are installed in a bottom front door part(20A) and a bottom rear door part(20B) of an air bag door part(20). A front-end part(48A) of the metal plate is fixed in an air bag case(14) by a bolt(51) and a nut(52), and a rear end part(50A) is fixed in the air bag case by a bolt(53) and a nut(54). In addition, hinge parts(48B,50B) of the metal plate are thin. The hinge parts offset in a lower direction to a hinge part(26) of the air bag door part and at the same time offset to a center(24A) side of a breaking unit(24). |
