PURPOSE: A solid electrolyte battery is provided to improve a battery characteristic by making an electrolyte and an electrode be contacted efficiently. CONSTITUTION: In the solid electrolyte battery, an anode (6) is composed of an anode composition layer (5) employing an anode current collecting body (4), a coupling material and an anode active material powder as a main component. The anode composition layer (5) has an average layer thickness in a range of +10% to -10% of an average grain diameter of the anode active material powder so that the anode active material powder is contacted with the anode current collecting body (4) and a solid electrolyte film (10). A cathode (9) is composed of a cathode composition layer (8) employing a cathode current collecting body (7), a coupling material and a cathode active material powder as a main component. The cathode composition layer (8) has an average layer thickness in a range of +10% to -10% of an average grain diameter of the cathode active material powder so that the cathode active material powder is contacted with the cathode current collecting body (7) and the solid electrolyte film (10). |
