PURPOSE: Materials for charge controller is provided to improve charge controlling ability, thermal stability and toxicity, resulting in efficient and environmental friendly charge controller. CONSTITUTION: The materials such as a metal carboxylate and a metal sulfonate are used as the charge controller of a toner for electrophotography and a developer, a power coating material and a charge generator of a electronics. The metal carboxylate and the metal sulfonate are synthesized by reacting a acid such as hetero aromatic mono- or di-carboxyl acid with a water soluble metal salt in a water alkali medium. A coordinate number of the metal cation is two or three.
