摘要

An ink-jet recorder includes a head part for circulating ink containing a solvent and a colorant dispersed in the solvent through an ink passage, aggregating the colorant by applying a voltage to an ejecting electrode, and ejecting the colorant so as to print a character. By aggregating a predetermined colorant right before the ejection of ink, the dot gradation i s controlled. Thus, an ink-jet recorder for printing characters with high definition and high reliability is realized.
