A lighting reflector for inside and outside spaces, in the form of a hemisphere, has an optic element in the middle of the inner hollow chamber. The reflector has prisms (6) located closely together inside at equal spacing. The reflector has a construction which simplifies the assembly of the reflector (1) in its lower and upper regions (2,3). The reflector on the side surface has different constructions. In the inner region of the reflector, especially in its upper region, horizontal prisms are located which reflect light radiated upwards in the upper region. The reflector is made out of plastics in the form of a hemisphere.
