In a process to prepare a food product for human consumption, a mixture is prepared of fine, lean mince meat and bacon. Small pieces of meat are then further chopped to a given particle size. The mixture of mince meat and bacon and the chopped meat are then brought together and kneaded together with chosen additives and are dispensed into a skin wrapper which may then be shaped as chosen.
