<p>The invention relates to a device for storing and issuing banknotes, preferably comprising a device which is connected upstream and which is provided for verifying the authenticity of deposited banknotes. The inventive device is characterized in that the construction thereof is simple and can therefore be manufactured economically while also providing security with regard to withdrawals. To this end, a compartment storage device is provided with adjacent compartments which are open at the ends thereof and which are separated from one another by intermediate walls. The compartment storage device is guided in a to-and-fro manner by a controlled drive. For the storage of banknotes, a slide is guided in the housing by a controlled drive in a to-and-fro manner and in the cross mid-plane of each supplied banknote. Using center folding, said slide pushes the banknotes in a loop-like manner into a compartment of the compartment storage device, said compartment being moved in the mid-plane.</p> |
