The gear with two gear members (1,2;10,2) connected by a coupling element (3,1;3,11) has at least one first gear member running through a fulcrum (4). The first gear member is held in its fulcrum position and is moved out of its fulcrum position by means of elements (5). The coupling couples the two gear members in motion as long as the first gear member is not in its resting position.
