Butoxylated polyalkylene-polyamines or their salts are used as deaerating agents in mixtures of polycarboxylate-based liquefier(s) for cement-containing mineral building materials and deaerating agent(s). An Independent claim is also included for aqueous solutions containing: (a) 5-80 wt% of a water-soluble copolymer of 98-2 wt% units of formula R<1>-CH=CR<2>-COO-(A-O)n-R<3> (I) in which R<1>, R<2> = H or methyl; A = 2-4C alkylene; R<3> = H or 1-22C alkyl; n = 1-300 and 2-98 wt% (meth)acrylic acid units (and/or their alkali metal and/or ammonium salts) and (b) butoxylated polyalkylene-polyamines or their water-soluble salts in amounts of 0.3-30 parts by weight (pts. wt.) (b) per 100 pts. wt. (a).
