SLIDING INTERLEAVED PROJECTION RECONSTRUCTION

A thin slab projection reconstruction acquisition technique in which multiple thin volumes are represented by images using projection reconstruction techniques. To eliminate the slab boundary artifact, the slabs are highly overlapped. To minimize the required scan time, only a small fraction of the projection view angles are sampled at each slab position. After Fourier transformation in the slice direction, there are sufficient numbers of projection measurements at each slice position to obtain very high resolution, high quality MR angiograms.
