摘要 The invention relates to a method and device for fertilizing specific partial areas of plants. The chlorophyll content of plants is indicated and calculated in natural light conditions using optical reflection measurement in the visible and near infra-red area of the spectrum by means of sensors.The amount of nourishment required for said plants is determined therefrom and a computer controls the amount of fertilizer that is to be provided. The reflection measurement is carried out simultaneously in opposite measuring directions by means of light guides as an oblique measurement with respect to the nadir. The influence of the solar azimuth angle is eliminated by averaging the interference signals from all directions of measurement. The light guides (5) are arranged in an oblique position with respect to the plants and in an elevated position with respect to the support (2,3), whereby they can be displaced along with said support. The measuring surfaces (A) that are scanned by the light guides are arranged outside the shadow area of the support. At least one diffuser (6) is allocated to the light guides for equalization with real incident light radiation.
