A vehicle lamp has: - a lamp body (1); - a reflector (3); and - an aligning mechanism (6) for tilting retention of the reflector in relation to the lamp body. The aligning mechanism comprises a hinged device (7) which serves as a hinge for the tilting of the reflector. The hinged device comprises a ball stud designed in one-piece fashion with the reflector and a ball socket (20) designed in one-piece fashion with the lamp body to accommodate the ball stud. The ball stud protrudes from the reflector in a direction that is aligned with the mouldings of the reflector vertically to the separating direction of the mouldings.
