Candles (4) are fitted from above into a carrier plate (3). The headpiece (8) is located at two seal sections (7,9) in a recess at the top and the bore of the headpiece at the bottom. The portion between these locations is counter-bored. The candle is inserted up to the collar (10) and secured by a fitting (12), which screws into the carrier plate, engaging a slot (11). The fitting serves a number of adjoining candles.
