<p>Lubricating equipment (10) for supplying to mechanical equipment (12) an emulsion of oil-in-water with a consistent concentration of the dispersed oil phase includes a circulation system (14) extending to the mechanical equipment from reservoir (22) containing the emulsion. The lubricating equipment is especially adapted to be utilized in the lubrication of mechanical equipment for manufacturing aluminum cans. The quantity and percentages of neat lubricant and water being supplied to the reservoir is controlled by a programmable logic controller (40). The programmable logic controller adds water and/or oil based on the output of the mechanical equipment, e.g., the can count during normal operating conditions.</p> |
