The sealing unit (42) inside a hole in a housing (32) has an annular holder (44) in which are two axially spaced apart annular grooves (50) facing, and radially spaced apart from, the hole in the housing or the shaft (30). The annular holder has at least one opening (52) between the annular grooves and through which lubricant can pass. An elastic sealing ring is positioned inside each annular groove.
