A document deliberating apparatus capable of efficiently deliberating documents by utilizing a network and equipped with a storage (11) for statements of documents that are to be deliberated by a plurality of deliberating persons. Upon receiving replies which are information carrying the results of deliberation of the statements sent from other units, the document deliberating apparatus (10) stores the replies in the storage (11), prepares statistic data related to the details of the replies when a predetermined number of replies are stored, and displays the thus prepared statistic data to assist the operator (person who has prepared statements to be deliberated) in correcting the deliberated statements.
