FLAT CABLE AND ITS JUNCTION WITH AN INTELLIGENT CONTACT TERMINAL

The invention relates to a flat cable and its junction with an intelligent contact terminal. A cable (3) includes two flat current conductors (6) in parallel and two flat code conductors (7) in parallel. The current and code conductors (6, 7) are in different planes on top of each other. The contact terminal includes a power electronics section (1), whose contact pins (4) penetrate into the cable (3) from one side thereof to contact with the current conductors (6). The contact terminal includes also a control electronics section (2), whose contact pins (5) penetrate into the cable (3) from the opposite side thereof to contact with the code conductors (7). The current conductors (6) are provided with bends (6a) and include therebetween straight segments (6b) which cover most of the cable length. The code conductor (7) is provided with a substantially denser zigzagging which does not comply with the cylicity of the current conductor bends.
