The invention relates to a sieving device (1) in which a sieving element (2) is connected to a reinforcing element (4) by means of a frictionally engagin g clamping action connection (11) while maintaining a radial distance using spacers (3). The sieving element is connected in such a way that it can be exchanged as a unit when worn, however, the reinforcing element and the part s assigned thereto can be reused for a new sieving device. According to the invention, the sieving device can be detached from the reinforcing element, said reinforcing element providing the actual support function, as a unit an d intact by means of a frictionally engaging clamping action connection. The clamping action connections can be either wedge action connections or conica l seat connections.
