PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan unit for purifying air, which is small in size, light in weight, small in power consumption, prominent in workability as well as maintenance property and realizing the reduction of noise. SOLUTION: A casing 2, provided with a suction port for sucking outside air through a punching metal 3, is attached to a ceiling plate S. A HEPA filter 4, arranged in parallel to the surface of the ceiling plate S, is provided near the punching metal 3 in the casing 2. A sirrocco fan 5 is arranged above the HEPA filter 4 in the easing 2 so that the rotating surface of an impeller 5a is parallel to the surface of the ceiling plate S and the suction unit 5c of the same is opposed to the HEPA filter 4. |
